Festival of Arts/Pageant of the Masters

The Festival of Arts has been a cornerstone of Laguna Beach’s artistic and cultural growth since 1932, playing a key role in fostering the appreciation, study and celebration of the arts in the community. Each summer, the Festival presents two extraordinary events—the Festival of Arts Fine Art Show and the iconic Pageant of the Masters—offering a truly unique experience. The open-air Fine Art Show showcases the exceptional work of local artists, while the Pageant of the Masters captivates audiences with its world-renowned “living pictures,” where real people are transformed into stunning re-creations of classical and contemporary masterpieces through elaborate staging, intricate costumes, masterful lighting and live orchestral music. The performance is brought to life with live narration, weaving a captivating story that enhances the visual experience. In addition to the art exhibit, the Festival offers an exciting summer schedule of special events, art classes, tours and live concerts.
